We spend a lot of time taking care of our dogs and puppies and we want to ensure that the puppies we raise continue to get the care that they deserve. For that reason, we ask our buyers to sign a purchase contract.  The contract ensures that our puppies are free from disease and in good health.

Buyer Responsibilities:

* Have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase. The seller must be informed immediately of the examination result by phone, email, or text. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee. The seller is not responsible for any cost to you for the veterinarian visit. WE DO NOT GIVE OUR DOGS-PUPPIES- LEPTOS

* Provide puppy with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:

1. Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

2. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.

 

  * All deposits are nonrefundable.

 

Health Guarantee:

 

* This puppy is guaranteed for one year, from date of birth against fatal and life-altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dyspepsia, which hampers the movement of the dog and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and Liver problems of a severe life-threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one-year time frame, the buyer will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain the reason. If the reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy.

* All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds.

* Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. The buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.

* As of the date of purchase, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and worming(s). The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and worming(s) due.

* This guarantee does not include Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life-threatening.

A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:

The animal must show the defect by one year of age. The seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem and the seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.

* No refund, in part or in full, will be given.

* A returned puppy, must be returned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the expense of the buyer. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.

* Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the seller on a replacement puppy.

* This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is non-transferable to a second party.

* No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without permission of the seller after consultation with the treating veterinarian.

* Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of the original puppy.

* There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example, allergies, thyroid dysfunction, Demodectic mange (in the case of Demodectic Mange, if you purchased full breeding rights, upon showing me that this dog has been spayed or neutered. I will refund the difference in price that was paid for breeding rights.)  and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.

* We DO NOT guarantee against conditions that may or may not be stress-related from the move to a new home and/or by the shipping process. These stress-related conditions that have previously remained dormant can be triggered by the above and unfortunately cannot be diagnosed until an active case becomes evident. Some of these stress-related conditions or illnesses are coccidia, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), and kennel cough.

* Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.

* Seller is only guaranteeing the above puppy as a healthy companion/pet and that the puppy’s pedigree is correct to the best of seller's knowledge.

* This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.

Please note, the seller is not responsible for any debt that the buyer incurs. from the time the puppy leaves our home.

* Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Michigan and the seller's county of residence. Iosco or Bay. It is agreed that any legal issues or court proceedings concerning the puppy purchased under this contract will be resolved in the seller's county of residence. This extends to internet sales across state lines as well.

 

If at any time during the life of the puppy/dog concerned in this contract, the purchaser due to unforeseen circumstances cannot continue to keep the dog we HAVE to be notified and will accept the dog back and find a suitable home for him or her.  No exchange of money or replacement is offered in this circumstance.

 

REHOMING IN ANY MANNER:

PRIOR TO ANY RE-SALE OF THIS PUPPY, THE PURCHASER AGREES TO NOTIFY THE BREEDER.
